Paul Scholes has claimed that Chelsea are still one year away from challenging for the Premier League title as players like Mason Mount and Kai Havertz still need time to develop.
Frank Lampard's side fell to their second successive Premier League defeat with a stoppage time 2-1 defeat to Wolves thanks to a late Pedro Neto goal.
Chelsea have showed signs of improvements since last season but Scholes feels they still have a lack of creativity in the squad. The title races promises to be one of the closest and most exciting in years, with just five points separating the top ten so far, with Chelsea sitting in fifth place.
But the former Manchester United man feels Liverpool and Manchester City will still be out of Chelsea's reach.
